Envision Cambridge was a three-year comprehensive planning process conducted for the City of Cambridge, a community experiencing an economic boom and attendant social upheaval. Outwith principal McCartin served as the primary analyst, writer, and content manager. The plan proposed a vision for the future of the city, including a spatial framework for change and development and policy recommendations for six focus areas. The plan advanced the now-passed Affordable Housing Overlay zoning, a new model being explored in jurisdictions on the east and west coasts.
